This position is for an ITSM Senior Consultant. Other industry terms for this position are Process Consultant, Technical Consultant, Principal Consultant, and Delivery Consultant.
Job Description
You will be the primary lead in either an ITIL process engineer service or in a technical deployment or implementation for HP Service Manager product. In addition to the process and implementation activities, it is important to also have experience and be able to support requirements gathering, solution development, presentations, demonstrations, RFI/RFP responses and competitive differentiation. The customer base is mainly the Fortune 500 companies. You will develop solutions using HP Software and partner products that integrate with your customer's existing infrastructure to meet their business and technical requirements.
As a primary interface with the customer, you will work to gain mind-share and share HP Software Solutions strategy.
You will work with an elite team of Professional Services resources. You will receive formal training as well as mentorship from your peers, and be expected to contribute to the knowledge base as you gain experience. You will be expected to constantly learn and demonstrate competencies in new technologies, products and solutions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
12+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (15+ years in total).
Must be US citizen
Knowledge and Skills Required:
-7+ years of ITIL process re-engineering experience, or
-7+ years of technical knowledge and experience in HP Service Manager
-Technical competence and experience with ITIL based Service Management tools
-Demonstrated success in a software consulting role (also known as Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Consultant, Principal Consultant, Delivery Consultant).
-Demonstrated success in large sales with Fortune 500 customers,
-Excellent customer communication and presentation skills,
-Resilience and resourcefulness when solving complex problems,
-Ability to present solutions persuasively,
-Excellent team skills,
-Ability to have a flexible schedule and work from a home office is required
-Ability to travel up to 75% of the time is required
