Success Stories

You too can be successful in the WAH world, sometimes it just takes time. Here are a few success stories from people who took a job lead, ran with it, and it turned out great. Now these are not people earning $1000 day, they're just ordinary folks like you and me.  Read and be inspired:

  • “I just received the call and I am IN!!! I can not believe it I am so giddy that I want to tell DH to make his day, but then again I want to wait to see his face. We have needed this so bad because his income was just not cutting it, and my pennies I was making was not helping either. Now I know for sure things will start looking up for us once July rolls around. I am so friggin happy I wish you guys could see me right now. I want to run outside nekkid and scare the neighbors!!!!!  A huge shout out to Helena for posting this wonderful lead and chiming in when I thought they were no longer hiring. If it were not not for you and the wonderful leads you put on this board I would have never applied for this position. I owe you big time and am more grateful than words can ever express  right now. Thank you Helena you are truly a gem in the wah world.”   http://www.wahm.com/forum/telecommuting-moms-34/499527-service-center-assistant-11.html   (10 June 2010 WAHM)
  • “Hello, I just wanted to give you an update on my job at Sedgwick. Yesterday was my first actual full day of working with out any training time and I have to say I love it. I am so grateful to you for posting the lead for them. There are very few WAH positions that I have seen that give their employees as much as Sedgwick does. I think I just might stay there until retirement which is quite a while since I am only 38! Thanks again for posting the lead you are awesome.” Shell 9 June 2010
  • "M has left a new comment on your post "Surveys that Pay":
signed up for both of these sites and they are awesome. I've been invited to participate in an online forum which pays more money and has contests for extra gifts." M 26 June 2010
  • just wanted to say got the HP job, Im mega psyched. FT, wah, w/awesome benies. super job w/leads. TY -- E.G. July 27, 2010 11:27 AM
  • Thank you so much for posting this job back in April. I truly do love working for them, they are a great company and I hope to grow with them. I love my job! The entering of claims is the same with each one but the scenarios are different every time, which can be quite entertaining. I work four ten hour shifts and have three days off in a row...couldn't be happier. Everyone is very helpful and no question is a dumb question, and they want you to ask questions if you have any. I love being able to work at home,You can post my comments onto your blog, I have you to thank for this opportunity!

  • "I love your website. I looked on there about a month ago and applied for a job. I received a call today and start the job on Monday with Executive Scheduling Associates as a Scheduler!! Thanks for posting otherwise I would not have found it. You always have the latest postings and so early in the morning. My morning ritual was to grab my cup of coffee and go to your blog :) This job came right on time - I was beginning to think I was going to have to work outside the home. Starting pay is great and I'm an employee with benefits after 90 days! Just wanted to give you the update because this is the job I've been waiting for!" -- R

  • I've been working as a remote coder w/HCA since December.  This is a great company and awesome opportunity. What makes it even more so is I no longer pay for child care and since my schedule is flexible I attend my child's activities at school.  Thank you for the lead and the tips for preparing a resume.  -- Krys via email  13 February 2011

  • L said:... "I am now working more and more from home. I took a position with Teletech and, enjoy the current client very much. It is a part time perm. I also work with ACDDirect about 20 hours a month. During drive months I actually can make a modest amount, I really enjoy the patrons. West at Home contacts me seasonally with three projects, which until recently, were back to back jobs. It has been very nice to be able to insert work time with them in half hour increments in between my 'real' away from home job and the part time home positions I've been juggling. The projects I've with them so far have never paid less than $13, which compared to some, seems ok.  I have now submitted my resume to LionBridge and will be going through their assessment for the next five days." Thank you.  March 19, 2011
