Student/Teen Jobs

Students and teens, summer is here, where will you be working? The entrepreneurial spirit is at its highest when you are young; take advantage of your youth and creativity to start a small business. Use your social networking and superb internet skills to market what you love to do. Graphic web designers are in high demand, so market those great skills you’ve learned, perhaps you have a gift of writing, there are tons of writing jobs on the web, some have age requirements, and others don’t. Or market those other talents you have by becoming a party planner or offer tutoring/ music lessons, the opportunities are endless, and people want your fresh approach and novel ideas. If none of these spark your interest than check out the paid internships below.

Just one word of caution, use the same common sense you would use on FB, MySpace, etc, when providing personal information to a prospective employer. If you do not have any information on the employer, other than a login site or email address, send an email of inquiry providing a summary of your qualifications, with your first initial and last name only. . Request they provide you with company details. Then you can research the company. Do not provide your home address, date of birth or social security number until you have verified this company.

Researching an organization can be done through:
