Account Coordinator w/Discovery Communications

Full time, Experienced, 4 year degree
Discovery Creative is the in-house agency for Discovery Communications. We produce fully integrated campaigns in print, digital, out of home, broadcast, social, viral, stunt for our full suite of networks both domestically and internationally. Our networks include Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Science, ID, Military, Planet Green. We also support corporate initiatives through corporate events, corporate communications and public relations.

The Account Coordinator plays a major role on the Discovery Creative account team, responsible for assisting the Account Executives and Account Directors in managing the work-flow, management and traffic of advertising and communications deliverables in all media including print, online, on-air, out-of-home and guerrilla/viral. Responsible for managing, scheduling and trafficking all projects to ensure that they are delivered on time and on budget for clients. Requires a highly detail oriented, organized individual with excellent communications skills who thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
NOTES: Telecommuting is allowed

3-5years experience in ad agency or corporate in-house marketing/creative group. • Good working knowledge of advertising production process and media to include print, online and broadcast • Highly detailed oriented and organized with keen ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in very fast-paced environment • Strong communications skills both verbal and written • A passion for television and the media industry.
