Cigna healthcare will be closing its’ Fort Scott, Kansas office and transitioning their claims examiners to a work at home environment. Management stated most employees were pleased, but unfortunately some jobs would not transition well to a WAH environment. Here’s the news story. http://www.fstribune.com/story/1615958.html
This is sad news for the employees who are losing their jobs, and I wish them all well. It is good news for the WAH professional to see more companies seeking the cost saving benefits of a WAH staff. Even further good news that many of Cigna’s employees can make the switch. It is much better to see our home grown companies attempting cost saving solutions to keep jobs here instead of outsourcing overseas. Let’s promote home sourcing.
ZOMG, I'm BACK!
