In an effort to continue to assist newcomers to the work at home (wah) world, we now have a question and answer box.  See the header tabs at the top of the page.  Please feel free to ask questions, my goal is share knowledge I've learned in my wah ventures.

Also, we have a new and recommended work at home forum, Transcription Haven.  It is primarily geared for transcriptionists, but also includes writing/editing and general wah sections too!.  It does require registration, but I am a member and can fully recommend this site.  Definitely join if you are interested in transcription jobs.  You'll find the link on the right hand side of the page or http://transcriptionhaven.com/.

Finally, my research on Surveys has proved valuable and even somewhat profitable for me, so a new blog has been started:  http://makemoneyonline-demi.blogspot.com/ .  It is still a work in progress, but I plan to have money totals showing up there in the future.  For fun and easy money, I really can't recommend these sites enough.  I just finished up participating in a one day (2 hour) fantasy baseball forum that paid $75.00.  Even my regular day jobs don't pay $37.50/hour.

A big hug to my loyal followers and supporters, I cannot thank you enough for the continued support.  If you are new please consider following, simply scroll down to the bottom of the right side of the page.  Right now this blog is a labor of love, but the more followers and supporters the more time I can spend researching jobs and providing tips for everyone.  Have a great weekend and check back Monday for new and exciting job leads.

Take a moment to look through the posting from earlier in the week, you'll find some great opportunities there.

More opportunities:

Do you need to make some money right now.   You can easily earn $100 to $200 a month, just by answering survey questions.  You can make much more if you are selected for online focus groups.  I recently spent about 3 hours chatting in a forum and received $75.00.  Select the links below or visit the tab above titled Surveys that Pay.  You will see you why I love, love, love these companies, and you can see how much money I'm making.  Yes, I do earn a small commission when you register, around  .50, but to be honest I make more doing the surveys than on the commissions.

1. Have a professional email address: firstname.lastname@gmail.com or companyname@yahoo.com

6. The ability to make time for yourself and your loved ones.

7. Maintaining a healthy diet and exercise.

8. Taking/making the time to get out of the house to interact with people in the real world.

9. A positive yet disciplined attitude

10. The desire and will power to continue to search for jobs until you find your perfect wah job.

Read some success stories here: http://howtoworkfromhome-demi.blogspot.com/p/success-stories.html. Remember to share your story too once you find your wah job.

Need some quick cash now or for the upcoming holidays, sign up with one of my recommended survey sites, http://howtoworkfromhome-demi.blogspot.com/p/surveys-that-pay.html.  You won’t get rich from these, but you can start a holiday or birthday fund. Great option for non-US residents too.

Feel free to post or email me your questions.

Have a happy and safe Labor Day.

Another Researched Survey Company

As promised after research, I can now recommend another survey company, American Consumer Opinion. Very reputable, compensation is fair, and they responded to my emails. So far in the past 30 days, I completed 2 surveys at $5.00 each. I must admit, as is my nature, I was a bit skeptical, as this company takes a bit longer to post the survey credit to your account. My fears were totally unfounded, within 3 weeks of the survey I received credit, which I then requested a cash out (you can do so at anytime). Check arrived in about 3 days. The time frame works out quite well. You can request payment any time. No spam, no junk email, just notification when a survey is available. Another awesome thing with this company is they are open to fourteen years or older. Go to the right top column of my blog and you will find them under Demi’s Recommended Survey Sites. I do receive a very small compensation if you register, but I’m not recommending anything I haven’t tried myself, and been satisfied with the results. Another awesome thing with this company is they are open to fourteen years or older. Candidates accepted from many countries.

Remember surveys are not a job, they are something you can do while watching TV or if you're lucky enough to have downtime in between other jobs.  I actually find them fun and refreshing at times.  They can also be a money maker for teens/students.  In fact I do believe  companies love to hear young opinions.  I will continue to research these companies, but it is a slow process, so be patient with me.  As soon as I verify a company is legit, and payment arrives you'll hear about it.

What about surveys? Can you make money from them?

Yes, there are legitimate survey companies out there that will pay you to participate. Remember this is not a job, but more of a paid hobby. I was a skeptic when I began this journey, but found myself pleasantly surprised. My research is just in the beginning phase, so I will only recommend those sites where I have personal knowledge, received payment, have not been spammed and general overall satisfaction.

My number one favorite is Opinion Outpost. I have so much fun doing these surveys. Surveys range from household products, automobiles, travel, many games and TV shows. I invested about an hour registering, the first week was a bust of not qualifying for surveys, and now I average about $15 to $20 a week, for 4 weeks straight now. Several of the surveys are for children, so I turn it over to my son, and he earns the money. You are paid via check after you accumulate $5.00 and they pay very fast. Ignore the website that says 6 to 8 weeks. I get my check in 7 to 10 days. No muss no fuss. I put this money into my “going out to eat jar”. We had enough for dinner for 4 at Chili’s last week, how awesome is that. Register, you will not be disappointed. Will post more sites as I verify them.
